EUROVISION 2023 REVIEW: Sweden

As promised, I will be reviewing each Eurovision entry in the most inconsistent way possible. The entries will be reviewed in a random order using my personal wheel on the Wheel of Names website.

Next is Sweden. They are sending 2012 Eurovision winner Loreen with Tattoo

Date chosen: March 11, 2023

Method: Through its annual long-standing Melodifestivalen series (or Melfest). 28 acts competed over 6 weeks to choose their representative for Liverpool

What I think: If you’ve been following Eurovision long enough, you would know about what Loreen can do. She stormed to victory in 2012 with Euphoria, which is still popular to this day. Tattoo follows along those lines of the artistic aesthetic that she brings to the table. All signs are pointing to either a victory or a top 5 finish

Ranking: 9.5/10, just because I have ranked four songs higher than this.

Chance (of qualifying and/or winning): 100%. There’s no doubt about that!
