EUROVISION 2023 REVIEW: Norway

As promised, I will be reviewing each Eurovision entry in the most inconsistent way possible. The entries will be reviewed in a random order using my personal wheel on the Wheel of Names website.

Next is Norway. They are sending Italian-born Alessandra Mele with “Queen of Kings”

Date chosen: February 4, 2023

Method: Through its annual Melodi Grand Prix show. 21 acts competed for 4 weeks for a chance to represent Norway in Liverpool

What I think: I particularly like this kingdom vibe it brings. It’s already a popular entry by fans of the contest. I also love female empowerment warrior-type songs that tell us about a woman who conquers all despite setbacks. I’m happy with Norway’s entry

Ranking: 8.5/10

Chance (of qualifying and/or winning): This is definitely qualifying, hands down. It might win or make top 5
