EUROVISION 2024 REVIEW: Austria

Alternative title: We Will Rave in Austria

This country has two wins, one of them just 10 years ago. Today I’ll be looking at Austria’s entry: Kaleen — We Will Rave

29-year-old Marie-Sophie Kreissl (Kaleen, November 12, 1994) is an Austrian singer, dancer, and choreographer. She was internally chosen on January 16, 2024 to represent Austria in the upcoming contest. Her song We Will Rave was released on March 1, 2024, with the music video released a few days later.

If we can’t be saved, we rum de dum, dum, we will rave. And we will be raving because this song went straight to my top 5 as soon as I saw the music video (I saw a bunch of hot guys so I’m in love lol). I’m sure Austria will qualify definitely but I’m hoping they pull off the staging because I bet it will be fire. 9.5 out of 10.

Kaleen will perform 6th in the 2nd semi-final on May 9, between Czech Republic and Denmark (although France will perform before Austria)
