EUROVISION 2024 REVIEW: Croatia

Alternative title: Baby Lasagna — A New Croatian Delicacy

This country is having a ball on the betting odds as of late. They won Eurovision once as part of Yugoslavia and they won JESC as an independent. They are looking to win the senior edition for the first time as an independent nation. Here is Croatia’s entry: Baby Lasagna — Rim Tim Tagi Dim

28-year-old Marko Purišić (Baby Lasagna, July 5, 1995) is a Croatian singer-songwriter and music producer. He was originally a backup when Croatia’s HRT announced the 24 acts for Dora 2024 but was let in after an act dropped out. He has soared to victory at the national final on February 25, 2024, and has become one of the most talked about Croatian entries in Eurovision history

I’m giving it a 9.5/10. It’s cheeky, it’s excellent. The beat is easy to follow. Croatia is hungry for a win, and I will be more than happy to give it to them (through voting of course). I mentioned to another Twitter user that, in comparison to Cha Cha Cha, it took me a few listens to love this song, as opposed to immediately for the former. Well done, Croatia, and hope the staging will be just as epic

Baby Lasagna will perform 7th in the 1st semi-final on May 7 between Poland and Iceland
